14 ott Little big press: THE BOOK’S SPACE INTERVIEWS
In the next posts you can read the interviews made by 3/3 to the participants of the exhibition The Book’s Space.
Starting with the 7 shortlisted books + 1 special guest – on display with a more structured setting up – the reading will continue with the interviews with the photographers and book designers of 20 more books on show, selected from all the entries received.
The interviews will focus then on 16 more books, not part of the exhibition only because of the space, and most of all the books’ space, is never enough!
You can also find all the interview archive on 3/3 blog: www.treterzi.org
Enjoy the reading!
The Book’s Space is curated by 3/3 as part of Little big press, an ongoing project started in 2010: a series of exhibitions, a travelling library and bookshop devoted to self- and indipendent photobooks. The first exhibitions tooks stock of the most interesting publications both in Italy and abroad, and contributed spreading in Italy the photobook culture and events where photobooks were conceived as art objects. Little big press then deepened the research through setting up strategies the aim of which was to underline the peculiarities of the book form, the publishers and book designers role, the questions connected on the one hand to the layout and materials and on the other to the photographic project narrative dimension.
